    German population living in Luxembourg :

    With 13.000 German living in the country, the german community is the 5th foreign comunity in Luxembourg. 47.000 borderers from Germany are working in Luxembourg.
    German is one of the 3 official language in Luxembourg.
    Germans live more specifically near the German-Luxembourg border. It is in Mertert that we meet the largest German community where they represent 8%. The cities of Grevenmacher and Rosport-Mompach are also well represented.
    10% of Germans living in Luxembourg were born there.

    National events:

    • October, 3rd: “Tag der deutschen Einheit”- Anniversary of the Reunification (Wiedervereinigung) of Germany in 1990.
    • Stand at the International Bazaar, with a tombola
