I was born in South Korea and educated until 27. Left my motherland for USA where I worked and studied public relations and communication. Left USA for Europe and got married to a French man and had three children. Finally studied opera singing in France and Luxembourg. Founded a Korean cultural association – “Les amis de la Corée” 10 years ago, now working as a contemporary art gallerist for korean artists.
What studies did you do and what is your main activity?
I wanted to become an opera singer but I had to study English literature and language instead to make my parents happy.

The bad weather, the size of the country, the unfriendly attitude of Luxemburgers.

Comfortable, easy and culturally stimulating.
What aspect of Luxembourg would you miss if you had to leave tomorrow?
The melting pot aspect of the population, open spirit, geographical advantage, safety, international village aspect.

Luxembourg city because of its smallness and cultural abundance.
Can you give me one word in your language which is impossible to translate into other languages?
“Jeong” Jeong is feeling of love and sympathy which is acquired from long-time relationship.

Once upon à time I was also an orphan in this country, lost in translation.
