Neha you come from India. How long have you been in Luxembourg?

    4 years.

What are you main life steps ?

I came to Luxembourg as a trailing wife! Following my husband with a 3yr & 1yr old child from India to US and then to Luxembourg.

With kids finally in school I was left with some time at hand and it got me think —- what’s next! I happened to meet some women entrepreneurs who inspired me to go on this entrepreneurial journey myself. With my educational background and experience I carved a niche for myself as a Personal Stylist – Styling not just for celebrities and models but for “Real People with Real Budgets”! Because come on, we all want to look good and be the best version of ourselves!

This Personal styling business allows me the flexibility of time, to manage both home and work.
It is location independent so I can take it with me wherever we go! But most importantly, I am driven by the impact it has on the lives of people and the confidence it gives them to face the world. Be yourself everyone else is already taken!

What studies did you do and what is your main activity?

I have my bachelors in Business Administration, Masters in Apparel Marketing & Merchandising Management, followed by a Specialization in Personal Styling .

I am a Personal stylist. My company is called StylizedU.

After working at Globus Stores Pvt. Ltd at Mumbai (India) as a Buyer for womens wear, I moved to Arizona, USA.
In the United States, I studied Fashion Styling and gained further knowledge and expertise to move forward with my dream of wardrobe styling and personal shopping.

Tell us few things that have surprised you when first arrived in Luxembourg?

Men cycling in formal suits and ties :-), the huge number of languages being spoken around me.

Can you give me 3 adjectives to describe your life in the Grand Duchy?

    Fulfulling, Creative, Diverse.

What aspect of Luxembourg would you miss if you had to leave tomorrow?

    Diversity, Enthusiasm, Safety , Peace.

Tell us what is your preferred district in Luxembourg and why?

Belair, Merl and Strassen… It’s close to the city, work and school for my children.

Do you go often out to eat and if yes what is your favourite type of cuisine?

Yes, I love Indian food, sushi and thai.

Can you give me one word in your language which is impossible to translate into other languages?

“Jootha”  …. Yo can kind of translate it, but there isn’t a word that explains it exactly the same way! “Jootha” is a word which primarily means food already tasted/ half eaten by someone & then left behind… So now it is “Jootha” —unfit/unclean/unhygienic for someone else to eat it.

For which reason have you decided to join the JUST ARRIVED Ambassadors club?

I had some opportunities to help fellow Indians settle down, mingle with the Indian community, answer questions, make friends etc… I enjoyed the process and the satisfaction it brings. So I decided to join the Just Arrived team so I can do it frequently !
